ScholarKit is operated by MR Ventures Ltd (company number 16729039), a private limited company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MR Ventures.

We collect the following personal data when you use ScholarKit:

• Information you enter in the scholarship quiz (e.g. name, academic background, degree plans, goals)
• Your email address, collected when you submit the quiz to receive your report
• Payment information — processed directly by Stripe; we do not store card details
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically via cookies and server logs

We use your data to:

• Generate and deliver your personalised scholarship report
• Send you your free report and, where you have consented, follow-up emails about ScholarKit
• Process your payment via Stripe
• Improve the ScholarKit service
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling beyond generating your report.

Emails we send may include open-tracking pixels and click-tracking links. These allow us to understand whether emails are received and read. You can disable image loading in your email client to prevent open tracking.

Under UK GDPR, we process your data on the following bases:

• Contract: to deliver the service you have paid for
• Consent: to send you marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email we send.
• Legitimate interests: to improve our service and prevent fraud
• Legal obligation: where required by law

We share data with the following third parties only to the extent necessary to provide the service:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe has its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Resend — email delivery. Your name and email address are transmitted to Resend to send your report and any follow-up emails. Resend's privacy policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Vercel — website hosting. Your data may be processed on their servers in the UK or EEA. Vercel's privacy policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We retain your quiz data and report for up to 12 months after your purchase, after which it is deleted. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by HMRC.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Object to processing or request we restrict processing
• Data portability
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)
